Twelve ages of MAN - Midrash on the "ZODIAC"

The Tikunei HaZohar based on the vision of Ezekiel teaches: there are four Holy Creatures under the Holy Throne of the Holy One Blessed Be He.
They are Lion, Ox, Eagle and Man. -Tikun 26:5
They represent the four dimension of right (Chessed), left (Gevurah) center (Tiferet) and Man (space/time/souls).
_____________________________________________________________________________
In the beginning, when he is born, Man is like a lamb (Taleh/Aries) -- soft and delicate.

As he grows, he becomes powerful like an ox (Shor/Taurus).

Then he becomes like the twins (Teumim/Gemini): He sees himself as complete and perfect.

Then his yetzer hara (negative impulse) starts to grow. At first it is as small as a crab (Sartan/Cancer).

But if left unchecked, it becomes as strong as a lion (Arieh/Leo).

If he sins, his yetzer hara puts on the mask of innocence, appearing as pure as a maiden (Betula/Virgo).

And if he continues to transgress, he is placed on the Scales (Moznaim/Libra), and his fate is weighed in the balance.

If he persists in his rebellion, he is sent down to the depths, placed in a pit like a scorpion (Akrav/Scorpio).

However, if he has a change of heart and returns to G-d, he is rocketed out of the
pit like an arrow from the bow (Keshet/Sagitarius).

Then he is transformed, returned to his former state of innocence, and becomes like a
kid (G'dee/Capricorn) -- purified by the waters of the water-carrier (D'lee/Aquarius).

His life comes full-circle when like a fish
(Dagim/Pisces), he luxuriates and basks in the water of eternity, his soul
reposing in the higher world from which it came.

The concept of: "Think good, it will be good." is authentic and it has reference...
For Job said in the verse: I was not at ease, neither was I quiet, and I did not rest,

And HaRav Maavar Yabok wrote: that FEAR and; WORRY [?#%#?doubts?#%#?] will worsen one's fortune,
but JOY and SECURITY will strengthen it.

ADVICE: minimize interest in current events,

In a Jewish Leap-Year there is an additional 13th month [Adar Bet/Sheni] and 13 equals AHAVAH [love],
and this is HALF of Havayah [G-d's explicit name] = 26...
We 'LOVE' [13] G-d and G-d 'LOVES' [13] us, and together there equals 26.
As written: I loved you, said the Lord... -Malachi 1:2

The reason why the Tana'im and Amora'im of the Gemara [Shabbat 156a] were concerned about their astrological forecasts was not because they went to consult with astrologers, but because they happened to find out about their forecasts [for they were required to learn even the mundane subjects]. So in order to defy what they heard in such a manner, they would have to rely on a miracle to save them, and one may not rely on a miracle.
As taught: Even the MUNDANE CONVERSATIONS [Sihat Hulin] of the sages warrant ANALYSIS [Limud].

[KING SOLOMON] The SEVEN stages which man goes through. In his infancy he is like a king, fondled, kissed, and made much of. At the age of two or three years he is more like a pig rolling in the mud, etc. When about ten years of age he is somewhat like a little kid, jumping about and skipping. About the age of twenty he resembles the wild horse in his lusts and desires. When married he is not unlike the ass in his dullness and cheerlessness and sleepiness. Becoming a parent, he becomes bold like the dog in his anxiety to obtain sustenance for his family. And in his old age,
with his furrows and wrinkles, he is not unlike an ape.

RAHAV a.k.a. Neptune’s new Hebrew name is Rahav.
Originally a mythical name designating the abyss or the sea… mentioned in Iyov and T’hilim…
the sea-monster, the dragon… Talmud, “Rahav” is the name of the demon, the ruler of the sea (“Sar shel Yam”; B. B. 74b)... alludes to Egypt… some see it as meaning “arrogance,” “noise,” or “tumult” - applied to the roaring of the sea and to the Egyptians. Until recently, the planets Uranus and Neptune didn't have Hebrew names.
They were just known as Uranus and Neptune. Not anymore. In 2009 the Israel’s Academy of the Hebrew Language promoted a contest asking Israelis to select Hebrew names for Uranus and Neptune. The vote was done through the Internet and the result was as folows: the name oron won for Uranus by 2,808 votes against 1,539 over shahak, and the name rahav won for Neptune by 2,907 votes against 1,266 over tarshish.

Zohar, Ki Tetze

“Rabbi Judah said, ‘the blessed Holy One is called שָׁמַיִם heavens. Since He is called heavens, all the firmaments that are included in this name, when they are joined together are also called שָׁמַיִם heavens, and they are the name of the blessed Holy One. What are these firmaments? There are seven as we learned [see BT Hagigah 12b]: וִילוֹן curtain, רָקִיעַ firmament, שׁחָקִים skies, זְבֻל habitation, מָעוֹן dwelling place, מָכוֹן firm place, and עֲרָבוֹת clouds. In the Aggadah of Rav Hamnuna Saba we learned it thus.’ Rabbi Isaac said, ‘[rather it is] the בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, of Rav Hamnuna Saba [which] are thus.’ In all these manners are many shades.
Rabbi Shim’on said, ‘We learned in all these בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, that all these seventy sefirot of the King are compared to seven רָקִיעַים firmaments, and seven planets that run to and fro, and they are called by names. But though they conceal all the [seven] firmaments, as for the seven planets, שַׁבְתַאִי Saturn; צֶדֶק Jupiter; מַאְדִים Mars; חַמָה Sun; נוֹגַה Venus; כּוֹכָב Mercury; לְבָנָה Moon; they relate these to those [seventy sefirot] in order to conceal matters regarding those. It is written: You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save you from these things that shall come upon you [Isaiah 47:13]. They conceal matters [in these teachings] even though they are not the ways of Torah. But we follow the ways of Torah, as written: And he gave them names, like the names his father had called them [Genesis 26:18]. Namely, we follow the words of the blessed Holy One and walk with Him, as is written, and walk in His ways [Deuteronomy 28:9].
Rabbi Yose said, ‘[Yet] these words are easy to the Companions, and the words are understood, though they are concealed.’ He said to him, ‘And so have we learned like Rabbi Judah said that Rabbi Hiyya said before us. These בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, taught us that during Solomon’s days the moon stood full [cf. Zohar 1:243b; Pesiqta de-Rav Kahana 5:12; Shemot Rabbah 15:26: When Solomon appeared, the disk of the moon became full (just as the moon does not become full until the fifteenth day of its cycle, so it remained incomplete until the glorious reign of Solomon in the fifteenth generation from Abraham)]. [Therefore] many people understood the words of these בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings [due to the profusion of wisdom during Solomon’s glorious reign, cf. Berit Menuḥa].
Rabbi Shim’on said, ‘I have raised my hands in prayer to the Holy Supernal One that these subjects be uncovered by me in that world the way they were covered in my heart. And we do not go in these ways of the בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, but apply the ways of Torah.
We learned that Rabbi Judah said, ‘Who is great in wisdom like King David and his son King Solomon in that sefirah known by these בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings [namely Malkhut]? King David called the moon, righteousness because it is his, as is written, Open for me the gates of צֶדֶק righteousness - I would enter them, I would acclaim יָהּ [Psalms 118:19]. King Solomon too called it righteousness. The sun that is called in the בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, a covenant [Yesod] is called justice. And both are the Throne of Glory of the King, as is written: צֶדֶק righteousness and מִשְׁפָּט justice, are the base of Your throne [Psalms 89:15], because the Righteous and Righteousness [Yesod and Malkhut] are also on the same rung. We learned that the seven sefirot, are nine [countingHokhmah and Binah]. And even in these בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, the seven firmaments are nine.’
Rabbi Shim’on replied, ‘How long will the Companions read these things! We follow the blessed Holy One and we know the subjects [of the wisdom of Kabbalah]. We have revealed what was not revealed to the ancients. From now on, leave all these things and all the בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, to those who did not go in and out [namely, those who entered the wisdom of those בָּרַיְיתַי outside writings, but were unable to leave because they failed to understand]. Let their children come and inquire about this wisdom, and when they will, the Companions will say, ‘Woe to the generation from which Rabbi Shim’on bar Yohai has departed.’ Yet come and see: From now on there shall be no generation like this one, and Torah will not be disclosed by the Companions’” (ZoharEqev).
“The King’s daughter [Malkhut] is bound by ropes in the prison of her exile. She is a nest to Samael among the stars and the blessed Holy One swears Though you exalt yourself as the eagle, and though you set your nest among the stars, from there will I bring you down, says YHWH [Obadiah 1:4]. And Shekhinah is נוֹגַה [nogah] Venus: The fire was נוֹגַה [nogahbright [Ezekiel 1:13]. Hence the synagogue is אֵשׁנוֹגַה [eshnogah] ‘bright fire’ [in a foreign tongue].
The fire of מַאְדִים [ma’edim] Mars, derives from אוֹדֶם [odem] redness: A row of אוֹדֶם ruby, topaz, and malachite, the first row [Exodus 28:17]. נוֹגַה Venus, is a white fire, and both are the face of the sun [Tif’eret], and the face of the moon [Malkhut]. Netsah and Hod receive the whiteness from Hesed and the אוֹדֶם redness, from Gevurah; Aaron and David came from there; one received Compassion and the other received Judgment. David came from the left side: and he was ruddy [1 Samuel 16:12]. Aaron is a man of Hesed, and the two true prophets [Netsah and Hod] are from them. The face of Moses used to shine with prophecy from Binah, which is the supernal sun, whence his prophecy came.
In them are, Esau the wicked, [who is the] the servant Edom, and his female מַאְדִים Mars, which is bloodshed in Israel. She caused it to be fulfilled in the Queen, he has made me שֹׁמֵמָה desolate, and דָּוָה faint, all the day [Lamentations 1:13]. הוֹד Hod, turned דָּוָה faint [הוֹד Hod, read backwards is דָּוָה faint], and they [שֹׁמֵמָה desolate, and דָּוָה faint] correspond to Netsah and Hod. Jakhin and Boaz on both of which the house is supported, since a synagogue is named after them אֵשׁנוֹגַה [eshnoga] bright fire, as we said” (Ra’aya Meheimna Ki Tetze).

1018 plus another 64,340,000,000,000,000 stars

Modern calculations are now approaching the number of Stars in the galaxy given by the Sages.

Let’s do the math:
A thousand times ten thousand: 1,000 x 10,000 = 10,000,000
Each camp has 365 x 10,000,000 stars, which means 3,650,000,000 stars!
How many camps are there in the universe?
30 camps x 30 battalions x 30 divisions x 30 legions x 30 hosts x 12 constellations = 291,600,000 camps. To calculate the total number of stars in the universe, we must multiply this number by the number of stars in each camp: 3,650,000,000.
Therefore, the total number of stars in the universe is:
291,600,000 x 3,650,000,000 = 1,064,340,000,000,000,000 stars.
In 1997, NASA scientists estimated the number to be around 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (1021) stars. In 2003, the Australian National University#3 published its research scientists’ rough estimate of the number of stars in the universe, based upon a non-conclusive sampling (in the University’s own words) conducted on a tiny area of the cosmos. The total number of stars they arrived at was 7 x 1022 stars. Based on their understanding of the Torah, the Sages concluded that the accurate figure is 1018 plus another 64,340,000,000,000,000 stars. As is inferred from the word in the narrative: “I created,” this is the Sages’ estimate of the number of stars from the time of creation.
Even given the most advanced astronomical equipment available to the ancient world, there is no way that human beings could have estimated such a large number of stars, were it not a received tradition from a source that transcends human perception.
“[God said to the People of Israel] I created twelve constellations in the firmament (groupings of stars: Libra, Scorpio, Pisces, etc.), and for each constellation I created thirty hosts (clusters of stars for each of the twelve signs), and for each host I created thirty legions (thirty legions of stars for each of the thirty hosts), and for each legion I created thirty divisions, and for each division I created thirty battalions, and for each battalion I created thirty camps, and to each camp I have attached three hundred and sixty-five thousand tens of thousands of stars, corresponding to the days of the solar year, and all of them I have created only for your sake.” -Brakhot 32b

Any real Torah scholar would pick up on a charlatan's inability to read a verse of the Torah without making a grammatical error. There was a time when philosophy was used instead of Sod, secrets of Torah , but that was before the foundational texts were revealed to the public. Since then there are no great Rabbis who deny reincarnation or the basic kabbalistic texts. The Hascala movement had a strong opposition to the mystical tradition as it provides answers to the greatest questions in life. Even science can be found , gravity is called Mati vLa Mati ... 3. There are four great "shells" which conceal Godliness from the world, and a fifth that seeks to sever it entirely.

The FIRST SHELL seeks to conquer all things, and place itself at the pinnacle of Creation. It represents the corruption of Justice and typically seizes power by presenting itself as a savior against a common enemy, and will even turn its subjects against each other should one not present itself. This is the shell of the nation of Babel, associated with Fire, Anger, and Tohu (Chaos).

The SECOND SHELL seeks to provide immediate gratification and pleasure for all, to turn the world into an eternal revel. It represents the corruption of Kindness and speaks with a silver tongue, promising greater levels of satisfaction, pleasure, and release from suffering. Sometimes it even fulfills its promise, but its subjects are always left directionless and empty. This is the shell of the nation of Persia, associated with Water, Desire, and Bohu (Emptiness).

The THIRD SHELL seeks spiritual, physical, and intellectual completion. It represents the corruption of Beauty and presents itself to those whose lives are devoid of meaning, promising a perfect, self-enclosed system of understanding that will help people accept their lot in life. It masquerades as one who is enlightened and enlightens others, but it has ceased to seek new answers, paying attention only to information which confirms its worldview; as such, it has ceased to grow. This is the shell of the nation of Greece, associated with Air, Arrogance, and Darkness.

The FOURTH SHELL seeks to expand and extend itself, to grow without limits and make the entire world a part of itself. It represents the corruption of Completion and is extremely adaptable, changing its face to reflect the culture of those it wishes to absorb. Its convictions and ideals are weak, however, and it lacks focus and unity; it has sacrificed these components in order to better spread its core; as such, it cannot truly unite the world in any meaningful sense. This is the shell of the nation of Rome, associated with Earth, Laziness, and the Deep.

The FIFTH SHELL has no ultimate goal, as its nature is antithetical to the idea of a goal itself. It exists only to disrupt systems and maintain the illusion that existence is meaningless. The main tools in its arsenal are Hatred and Ridicule, and it uses these to call doubt against its targets. This is the shell of the nation of Amalek, and of the five it is the only one that has no place in an ideal world.

  5. Adar–Pisces
Adar is the twelfth and the last month on the Zodiac which provides it special qualities, since it is the collector of all the zodiac signs and their powers, the positive and the negative.
    Tribe-Ephraim and Menashe(Joseph’s sons)
Ephraim and Menashe symbolize Adar A and Adar B (A Hebrew leap year has two months of Adar, seven times in a cycle of 19 years). it is also reflected in the blessings of Jacob the patriarch to Ephraim and Menashe: “… and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth” (in Hebrew there is a paraphrase of the phrase “grow into a multitude” related to the reproduction of fish = Pisces, which is the zodiac sign of the month).

In many cultures the fish are a symbol for protection from evil eye, and as well the Pisces are known for their good luck. Also, in the word Pisces (Dagim דגים) in Hebrew the letters גד (Gimel, Dalet = luck) appear and they symbolize of the blessing located specifically where the eye cannot see. Another aspect of the connection between Pisces and Adar is that the skeleton of the fish is called Idra (אידרה) which in Aramaic means meeting (in Hebrew Asefa אסיפה which also means collecting, gathering, linguistic from collector, as mentioned above).

Forces that Control Adar – Pisces
The Wisdom of Kabbalah teaches us that each of the four seasons is represented by one of the four letters in God’s name, The Tetragrammaton – יהו”ה. The spring is represented by the letter י (Yod) and so on until the winter which is represented by the letter ה (Hei). The Hei – the fourth and last letter in the Tetragrammaton symbolizes our world, the vessel that receives and accumulates the spiritual abundance from the upper worlds.

The winter’s zodiac signs, as in any other season, create an alignment of three energetic forces – called in Kabbalah right (Capricorn), left (Aquarius) and central (Pisces) columns (plus, minus and a neutral, respectively).

The element of Earth, which symbolizes our material desires, lack and hunger, controls the winter and affects its signs. Regarding Pisces, it is shown in their tendency for feeling emptiness and lack and regarding themselves as victims.

Another aspect of this quality is exactly the opposite and they could develop a positive power that leads them to fight for their beliefs.

As mentioned, Pisces is also related to central column, which is influenced by the element of Air. Hence, the Pisces constant search for balance. Furthermore, most people know Pisces as a Water sign which shows great sensitivity. That could be like the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, big vulnerability when the sensitivity is directed inwards (selfish) or amazing social, mental, psychological skills when it is directed outside (altruistic).
    Letters of the Month גק
According to Sefer Yetsira: the building blocks of the universe consist of 22 different frequencies, spiritual forces, represented by the 22 Hebrew letters. Each month is ruled by two Hebrew letters. One letter rules the planet that dominates the sign. The other letter rules the astrological sign of the month.

    1. Adar’s planet is Jupiter and is ruled by the letter ג (Gimel). Its astrological sign is Pisces, which is ruled by the letter ק (Kof).
The letter Gimel ג created Jupiter that controls Pisces and Sagittarius – the astrological signs of the months of Adar and Kislev, which the holidays celebrated at them symbolize the power of miracles – Purim and Hanukkah.
The letter Gimel (ג) also symbolizes abundance, prosperity of all kinds, and good luck and this is also the reason why Pisces (fish) are a symbol for protection from evil eye.
According to conventional astrology, the tendency towards fatalism and the great sensitivity of the Pisces are the reason for their lack of ambition. Therefore, one of their major goals of transformation (Tikun) is choosing rolls of leadership and responsibility (Moses was a Pisces).
Pisces can use their great sensitivity and modesty to protect them against falling to the trap of egotism and arrogance that most people fall into as they achieve positions of leadership.
Due to their sensitivity they can be very supportive coming toh other people’s troubles and pain and therefore can be great leaders. Their sensitivity, which is the outcome of the combination of Jupiter and the Water element, is also the cause for their spiritual aspect, their sixth sense is very much developed, usually and their ability to communicate with spirits.
Their sensitivity might be expressed as being introverted and modest. It is very much recommended for the members of this sign to be careful not to over sympathize with other people’s troubles since you can’t help people when you are engulfed with their pain.
The abundance of Jupiter is expressed in qualities such as good heartedness, generosity, the will to help people or animals.
This letter Kof ק is the only Hebrew letter that exceed from the line downward. This descent symbolizes the world of darkness and spiritual impurity (Kelipa).
The Kabbalists explain that we might consider Kof (ק) as a letter of impurity but like the other 21 Hebrew letters it is a letter of sanctity, and the part of the letter going downward indicates of its ability to feed and nourish the worlds of darkness, not by means of identifying with them but by controlling them.
This is the power of Kof – the ability to play with the Kelipa and control it. This power also expressed in Pisces but it requires great wisdom or else the Pisces will fall downward and develop addictions such as gambling, alcohol, sex or drugs.
The Tikun/substantial spiritual work of the Pisces is overcoming passiveness and the illusive feeling of wholeness – complacency, caused by the letter Gimel of Jupiter.
The Pisces should connect to their inner need to help their fellow-man and to use it to leverage themselves from passiveness. However, part of their Tikun is to know to say No for others’ requests, since helping others does not mean fulfilling others desires but nourishing and empowering them with spiritual Light, since we cannot force others into being happy.

  6. The Talmud is surprisingly close when calculating the number of stars in the universe (Berakhot 32b), with God declaring:
… twelve constellations have I created in the firmament, and for each constellation I have created thirty hosts, and for each host I have created thirty legions, and for each legion I have created thirty cohorts, and for each cohort I have created thirty maniples, and for each maniple I have created thirty camps, and to each camp I have attached three hundred and sixty-five thousands of myriads of stars, corresponding to the days of the solar year, and all of them I have created for your sake.
Doing the math brings one to 1018 stars. This number was hard to fathom in Talmudic times, and even more recently. Yet today scientists calculate similar numbers, with one estimate at 10 to the 18th [power] stars.
